How to become a Real Madrid member in 2026
Real Madrid’s official membership page states that a new applicant must be the child or grandchild of an existing club member. The applicant must complete the membership registration form and provide documents proving that family relationship to the club’s Member Services Office.
That restriction is important because Real Madrid is not a privately owned sports company. The club belongs to its members, who have rights and responsibilities established by its statutes. Each member receives an individual membership number and a personal, non-transferable card.
Being a passionate supporter, living in Madrid, or regularly attending matches is not enough on its own to obtain official member status.
